JOB PURPOSE
* Drive, Operate and Maintain OTMs safely, professionally, competently & compliant with all aspects of your duties
* To be competent in Grinder maintenance, repairs & fault finding
* Maximise machine availability
* To effectively deliver operational training of the company
* To ensure all training developed is in line with the HRL Competency Management System.
* To undertake Competency Assessments to assist Assessors in the compliance with the Harsco Rail Competence Standards
* To support the Company in being at the forefront of training innovation and becoming recognised as an industry leader and purveyor of training best practice
KEY RESULT AREAS
* Undertake duties in line with agreed roster
* Maintain competency in line with role requirement
* Maintain agreed route card using the equipment provided and learn new routes as directed by your Line Manager
* Performance of machine following the completion of maintenance tasks
* When undertaking machine-based duties you are responsible for the overall machine condition including documentation, tooling, spare parts, consumables, safety equipment, waste disposal and your PPE
* Compliance with all company policies & procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental
* Utilise IT equipment provided to update and access Apps and Programs associate with your role (Rule Book, FAMS, Q-Pulse, AARK etc)
* Internal and External Verification results.
* Compliance with the Competence Management System
* Deliverance of Training Courses according to the Training Plan
* Customer Satisfaction indicators – course evaluation forms

Additional Information
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
* Work with Line Manager to maximise machine availability and reliability
* Undertake training and gain new competency as directed by your Line Manager
* Engage with your Line Manager to identify and implement continuous improvement activities
* Maintain regular contact with Control Centre
* To ensure company vehicle is kept to required standards as per HR/ADV/H/G/004
* Attending meetings as required by Line Manager
* Provide reports and information as requested by Line Manager
* Liaise with internal departments, the customer, other NWR departments and 3rd party contractors as required
* Flexible to work on other machines as directed by your Line Manager
* Travel and lodge in line with role requirements and as directed by Line Manager
* Report accidents, incidents, and problems to Control and your Line Manager in a timely manner.
* To liaise with and respond to requests from Operations/Driver Standards Manager Develop and deliver appropriate training programmes in accordance with the requirements of the training plan and in compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements.
* Maintain own occupational competencies in order to Train & Assess staff as required.
* To undertake any development training as required.
* To undertake regular progress meetings with the training team
* To ensure training competences are maintained and developed
* To ensure all records of training are up to date
* To work with managers on providing the best training to suit the needs of their teams
* To assist and ensure compliance with any audits
* To attend internal and external meetings as required.
