Trinity College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrator to support the Junior Bursar’s Office. This role is essential to maintaining the efficient operation of the College’s administrative functions. The Junior Bursar is responsible for the operational management of the College, directly supervising several Heads of Department and coordinating the activity of others. As a member of Council and several key College Committees, the Junior Bursar influences key decisions and ensures the delivery of the College’s short-term and long-term priorities. The Junior Bursar is directly supported in these efforts by the Committee Coordinator. The Role Reporting to the Committee Coordinator, the role holder will manage key administrative projects and provide vital support to the Junior Bursar’s Office. Key responsibilities include: Managing the College’s insurance cover, including annual renewals and ad-hoc event arrangements. Collaborating with the Accommodation Department and the external building management company to oversee residential, teaching, and study spaces. Providing support to working groups, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions. Reviewing utility supplier contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance. Administering College licences. Overseeing various surveys. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will demonstrate: Exceptional administrative skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, working to tight deadlines. Experience in committee support, insurance administration, and facilities related tasks (advantageous). Why Join Us?
