Job Title: Air Traffic Control Officer Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: 92,588 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Providing an Aerodrome Control service Providing an Approach Radar service (UK FIS in Class G) Providing a Lower Airspace Radar Service Providing a Special Tasks (Test) Service Providing Met Observations and submit them in a timely fashion Assisting in the administrative processes of the Unit as directed by the Manager of ATS, including supporting the change management process and review of procedures Essentials: You must hold a valid Class 3 medical certificate Previous experience and military ratings in Aerodrome, Approach Surveillance, Area Radar ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6 is required Desirable: Training Instruction / Assessor experience Supervisory experience Instructional techniques including course design Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Air Traffic Control team: Working in a highly dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for handling both civilian and military aircraft movements safely and efficiently and in accordance with the Manual of Air Traffic Services Parts 1 and 2, UK (EU) Regulation 373/2017, UK (EU) Regulation 340/2015 and UK/ICAO SARPS and other applicable UK and International regulation.
