Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role within the residential care sector OR at least 2 years as a Deputy Manager in a role relevant to residential childcare Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Willingness to obtain a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years (if not already held) Full UK driving licence is essential. Proven ability to provide consistent care and support to children, including those with challenging behaviour. Flexible approach to working patterns, including covering shifts when needed. Responsibilities: Inspire and lead Team Leaders and RSWs, overseeing staff induction, training, performance management, duty allocation, shift management, record keeping, budgeting, petty cash, staff deployment, and daily supervision. Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed regularly. Collaborate with the management team to achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding.
