About the role:
Due to an increase in our recruiting needs across the business, we are on the lookout for an experienced HR professional, with a passion for talent acquisition to come and join our team. The role will focus on building a pipeline of future talent and responding to recruitment needs to support all areas of the business for the UK and Ireland. Ideally, the candidate for this role will have experience in building an employer brand. Experience in this role is essential and it would be ideal if this experience was in energy, engineering and/or construction industries.

Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions that align with business goals.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment agencies, and social media.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles to ensure timely recruitment when vacancies arise.
• Conduct initial phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the process.
• Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment status and feedback on candidates.
• Drive employer branding initiatives to promote Clarke Energy as an employer of choice through various platforms and recruitment marketing efforts.
• Maintain a strong relationship with external recruitment agencies, negotiating terms and managing performance.
• Manage offer process, including negotiating compensation packages and coordinating the onboarding of new hires.
• Track and analyse recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and report to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all employment regulations and company policies.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
Essential
• Previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the energy, engineering or construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, recruitment tools and talent market trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Familiar with HR software
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities.
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
Desirable
• Experience with Workday would be advantageous.
