As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's capabilities and expanding its client base, working closely with project teams to ensure exceptional project delivery.
Duties
1. Responsible for optimising business growth
2. Identify, source and target new sales opportunities
3. Managing and maintaining existing client base
4. Building strong client relationships
5. Lead the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, proposals and bid submissions
6. Manage and maintain relationships with an existing client base while building strong, lasting partnerships
7. Collaborate closely with project teams to align client expectations and project outcomes
8. Monitor and report on sales performance, adapting strategies to meet or exceed targets
9. Utilize strong expertise in sales, marketing, and digital platforms to strengthen the company's market presence
What you will need
1. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the construction industry
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams effectively
3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
4. A dynamic, results-driven approach to business development
5. In-depth understanding of construction processes and the ability to discuss technical details with clients and colleagues
6. Demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing strategies, including digital platforms and social media
7. A passion for the construction industry and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
