Business Development Consultant: Niche Sector Leeds
We are a specialist group of niche sector recruitment agencies, concentrating our efforts on supplying both temporary and permanent staff to the construction industry. We are looking for an additional member of staff to join our Electrical and Mechanical division.
Main duties of the Business Development Consultant include:
1. Being part of a small team focused on increasing business with existing, lapsed, and new clients.
2. Contacting potential clients via telephone, face-to-face meetings, email, WhatsApp, and social media channels.
3. Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing clients.
4. Reaching out to lapsed clients to remind them of our unique service and win back their business.
5. Targeting new business using various methods, including local knowledge, networking events, and ABI.
6. Building rapport and confidence with clients to obtain repeat business.
7. Taking detailed information from clients for each project requiring labor.
8. Working with the team to assist in filling electrical mechanical vacancies when required.
9. Maintaining constant communication, both via telephone and face-to-face, with clients.
10. Obtaining client feedback on the staff sent.
Attributes Required:
1. Ability to work as part of a small team, all aiming for the same result.
2. Exceptional business development and/or B2B sales skills.
3. Ability and desire to make client contact over the telephone.
4. Enjoyment of business development and client account management.
5. IT literate, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Pro-active, can-do, energetic attitude.
7. Passion for success in your role.
8. Open to in-house training on both sales and the labor supply industry.
