Why this job is important
Kantar has a long history of sensory research in the ANZ/APAC region, with over 30 staff based in ANZ. Over the past two years, we have successfully grown our global sensory research business to the point where we need a Senior Sensory Director, based in Europe, to help support this growth. The Senior Sensory Director will be responsible for leading engagements with European-based global clients, working with both the AU/NZ Sensory CoE team and local Kantar Innovation teams to design and deliver world-class sensory programmes.
What you’ll be doing
1. Collaborate with Global Client Directors and local innovation teams to identify sensory opportunities for Kantar.
2. Lead conversations with global clients, including pitches, proposals, and presentations.
3. Work with the UK Innovation team to win and deliver projects for UK-led clients.
4. Design and deliver sensory and consumer research projects.
5. Build capability in the UK to support global and local projects.
6. Act as a thought leader and represent Kantar at industry events.
The skills & experience needed as
1. 10+ years of experience in sensory and consumer science
2. Proven success in sensory and consumer science / recognised as an expert
3. FMCG Industry experience
4. Ideally both agency and client side experience
5. Ability to lead teams
6. Working knowledge of SPSS
7. Ability to work with team based in Australia through meetings contribution to projects
8. Ability to work on global projects
