A bit about the role Working collaboratively as part of a team or individually to provide a range of administrative and front of house support tasks utilising organisational policies, procedures and digital systems Accurately recording and digital filing of information in foster carer and young people's records. Organising business meetings, ensuring efficient and effective planning for a single or series of meetings, addressing timelines, notifying participants, venue\location (including use of digital technology), refreshments, agenda preparation, minuting and progress chasing agenda items and follow up actions. Providing written, verbal and e-correspondence, in collaboration with management and operational colleagues, ensuring prompt, courteous and appropriate responses. Processing financial transactions, including but not limited to the payment of invoices, purchase orders, petty cash, on-line payments and P cards. About the service Our Glasgow based Fostering Service (CAPS) is a specialist fostering service that offers attachment- based therapeutic care to children and young people who cannot be looked after at home. We offer the highest standard of care providing fostering families with excellent training, supervision and support to achieve the best outcomes for the young people we look after. We have excellent Fostering Inspections and provide good quality of care to young people, always ensuring we listen to our young people every step of the way. We are looking for an administrative officer to provide reception cover and administrative support to our Supervising Social Workers and fostering families. How you'll help to create brighter futures Being a strong communicator with experience or a desire to work in the 3rd Sector. Having an SVQ Level 2 in Administration OR 2 years Administration experience. Being organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload. Having previous exposure to financial administrative tasks including but not exclusive to invoices and processing invoices for payment. Having a high understanding of Microsoft package specifically SharePoint, Teams, Word and Excel.
