Interested in a career as a Cardiology Specialist Nurse?
An opportunity has arisen to work as a Full-time Cardiology Specialist Nurse at Furness General Hospital.
We are keen to receive applications from people wanting to develop their cardiac knowledge. Having completed the educational module, they would be working alongside our established cardiology specialist nursing team.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous cardiology experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be willing to undertake necessary training courses and modules and have some previous experience of cardiology/cardiac nursing.
This post involves face-to-face contact with patients and their families in an acute setting by delivering clinics and assessing patients on the wards.
The successful candidate will be expected to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised programmes of evidence-based care (pharmacological and non-pharmacological management) and provide specialist advice to patients, carers/relatives.
