A role as a Contact Supervision Worker offers a unique opportunity to facilitate safe and meaningful interactions between children and their families, ensuring that contact arrangements are followed while prioritizing the well-being of the child.
This role involves supervising and supporting children under the age of ten during contact visits with their parents. You will be responsible for transporting children safely from their placements to contact venues and ensuring that each visit runs smoothly. Observing interactions and maintaining accurate records are key aspects of the role, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills. Any safeguarding concerns must be promptly reported to senior staff to ensure the protection of children at all times.
Successful candidates will have substantial experience working with children, either professionally, voluntarily, or personally. The ability to build professional relationships with parents, foster carers, social workers, and other professionals is essential. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is required, along with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions in line with policies and procedures.
