Compliance Oversight Manager Leeds or Dublin Your team Reporting to a Senior Manager the Compliance Oversight Manager will play an essential role supporting the business in its key regulated jurisdiction, the UK and Ireland. As the main point of contact for partners across the Customer Operations, Change Delivery and Data, the successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring our customer operations are compliant. They will be responsible for leading the second line operational oversight team, directly line managing a compliance officer, conducting targeted checks to ensure our customers are appropriately handled, reporting and driving continuous improvement. What you’ll do Line Management: You will support a Senior Compliance Officer to deliver second line oversight effectively. You are a manager who develops their team and supports their wellbeing. Second Line Oversight Activities: To conduct ongoing checks on key regulatory operational controls ensuring compliance with policy and process and identifying control environment improvements. To ensure appropriate actions have been taken on customer accounts, taking remedial action where necessary. To identify risks within process and control design, suggesting appropriate mitigations. To agree actions with business partners to drive continuous improvement and track these to completion. Quality Improvement: To devise action plans to improve operational quality. Highlight gaps within first line quality scorecards for identifying issues. To upskill the QA team through feedback, guidance, and facilitating regular and scheduled levelling and feedback sessions. Reporting: To produce high quality monthly reports for leadership and detailed monthly reports for Operational management. You will be required to work to deadlines. How you’ll do it Previous Compliance Monitoring, Internal Audit or Quality Assurance Experience. Strong attention to detail Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
