The role of Attendance Manager is crucial to ensure students attend regularly and have the best chance of academic success. This position involves early intervention to address absenteeism, ensuring legal compliance, and engaging with parents, carers, and relevant agencies to create a supportive environment and maximise attendance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team, working with young people, and improving attendance in an educational setting. They should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to relate effectively to young people, and a commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
