Job Description
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Financial Compliance Manager at E.ON Next to lead the development and implementation of our compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with FCA regulations. You'll be at the forefront of driving regulatory compliance, while also supporting innovation and operational effectiveness. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, providing expert guidance and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
1. Leading the development and execution of our compliance strategy, ensuring full alignment with FCA regulations and internal policies.
2. Conducting independent audits and monitoring activities to assess and enhance the company's adherence to compliance standards.
3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with the FCA, responding to requests and ensuring timely reporting.
4. Overseeing the approval and compliance of financial promotions, ensuring they adhere to FCA guidelines.
5. Supporting the business in preparing for new FCA permissions and ensuring compliance readiness across all initiatives.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop training, QA frameworks, and continuous compliance improvement initiatives.

We're looking for someone who has:
* A deep understanding of FCA regulations and a proven ability to keep an organisation compliant.
* Experience in navigating environments with both FCA-regulated and non-regulated products.
* A passion for driving innovation within a compliant and risk-aware framework.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and mitigate risks effectively.
* Extensive experience in establishing or enhancing compliance teams, ideally in utilities or mobile services, with around 10 years in the field.
It would be great if you had:
* Knowledge of risk management practices, especially in highly regulated industries.
* Experience working with or setting up compliance functions in rapidly changing growth-driven environments.
* Familiarity with digital transformation and how technology impacts compliance practices.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and inspire cross-functional teams.
* A relevant professional qualification (such as CISI, ICA, or similar).
