The Senior Marketing Executive will support the group marketing manager in delivering effective promotional communications, enforcing brand standards, analysing insights and audience, and supporting the growth of the 50 Best brand and its events.
50 Best is the global leader in premium hospitality awards, events, and content. Widely recognised as the leading innovator within its field, its brand portfolio now includes The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, The World’s 50 Best Bars and The World’s 50 Best hotels, as well as 50 Best Discovery and various regional iterations of the awards.
Communication is at the heart of the strategy to cement the 50 Best brand’s position as the leading global and regional authority in the restaurants, bars and hotels spaces, and to further establish the brand as a positive force in gastronomy – 50 Best is as much about building community within the hospitality sphere as it is about producing rankings and engaging content.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting the marketing manager in event marketing functions, including owning the production of marketing assets and working with the manager to create and deliver effective event marketing plans.
* Supporting the monitoring of brand usage and implement brand standards across the board, and the preparation and distribution of marketing guidelines, toolkits and materials.
* Creating, planning and managing campaigns and projects, including clear measurable objectives.
* Contributing ideas and participating in conceptualising content and strategies.
* Copywriting and fact checking promotional materials such as emails, letters, web pages and banners.
* Preparing vendor briefs to commission videos and promotional materials.
* Ensuring all campaigns are conducted cost efficiently with the best results possible.
* Collecting and collating marketing activities results from the various platforms and producing reports.
* Supporting in the creation of surveys and distribution of results.
* Conducting research on competing events and brands for B2B and B2C markets and analysing industry reports relevant to the brand.
* Compiling post-event impact reports.
* Performing administration tasks, including but not limited to: updating and maintaining the marketing records on the server; handling vendor invoices and updating budget use; updating and circulating relevant marketing materials internally.
Requirements:
What you'll need:
* Demonstrable experience working in marketing for a sizeable organisation (agency or in-house).
* Exposure to international marketing is preferred, for example through experience with global brands or international events.
* Experience with global-level brands, in the luxury, media, hospitality or events space.
* Experience actioning audience insights.
* Proven track record in delivering effective consumer or business facing campaigns.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in addition to strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent collaborative team-working skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* A keen interest in the world of restaurants, bars and hotels.
* Language skills are not essential but highly valuable in this role.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Google or Adobe Analytics, Meta Ads Manager. Working knowledge of Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey, Monday.com, Zapier is ideal.
