Key Responsibilities: Assess individual learning needs and develop personalized schemes of work. Plan and deliver engaging and structured sessions tailored to the needs of secondary-aged students. Support students with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and other SEN to achieve their potential. Adapt teaching methods and strategies to help overcome barriers to learning. Track progress and provide feedback to parents, carers, or other professionals as needed. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence. About You: Experienced in working with secondary-aged students with SEN. Confident in assessing, planning, and delivering bespoke learning interventions. Knowledgeable about SEN strategies, particularly for Autism, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay. Patient, empathetic, and passionate about making a positive impact. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families. Requirements: Experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN (QTS or SEN-specific qualifications are desirable but not essential). A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one. Flexibility to work part-time hours tailored to student availability.
