In this role you will be using your leadership, planning & people skills to ensure the Quality Department runs as efficiently & smoothly as possible. Duties will include Overseeing the Quality Department, being responsible for site food safety and quality, systems policies, procedures and equipment, dealing with complaints and assisting in 3rd party audits and excelling within ongoing Continuous Improvement projects. There is excellent industry specific training so candidates from a quality management background withing the fresh produce / food production industry are encouraged to apply. The Role: Leading the Quality function in a busy food production environment Championing industry & company quality best practices, a food safety culture and ensuring legislation and company policies are adhered to Continuous improvement projects - to include but not limited to - budgets, costs, efficiencies, labour, streamlining processes and procedures The Person: Previous Quality Management experience within a food or fresh produce production /manufacturing environment Degree level qualification in science or food technology (or equivalent experience).
