Due to continued sustained growth and secured projects, they are keen to identify a Bid Writer to join their work-winning pre construction team.
The Bid Writer Role:
You will be responsible for supporting the pre-construction team. You will learn about
every facet of the business and be expected to take responsibility and use your own initiative – this
is a busy and pivotal role.
Reporting directly into the Senior Bid Writer, your main responsibilities will include the following
core responsibilities:-
Write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving
contributions from delivery teams along with the wider company sectors
Ensure win themes are articulated in such a way to meet / exceed the client’s requirements.
Deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed deadlines, escalating issues as
required.
Lead storyboard sessions with bid / proposal team members.
Undertake market research for the kick off and solution meetings.
Proactively engage with subject matter experts.
Assist in developing a proposal structure.
Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
Present and tag all new proposal content for potential re-use.
Excellent time management / prioritisation skills.
Forensic attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills.
Attend pre-bid and bid meetings- leading as required
Support the tender team in bid submissions
Populate pre-qualification/selection questionnaires/applications as instructed and within
deadline
Ensuring the submissions are made in time and assist with final submission of the tender if required.
