If you have experience working with SEND, particularly autism and challenging behaviour, this could be the perfect role for you Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include: Support a child on a 1-1 basis within a Primary School setting. Assist with the delivery of the National Curriculum, ensuring an inclusive learning environment. Work with students who have SEND, including autism and challenging behaviour. Collaborate with the Class Teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans. Provide emotional and behavioural support, helping children to regulate and engage in lessons. Work on a partial timetable, ensuring the best support for the child's needs. Required Skills and Experience: Previous UK school experience is essential. Experience supporting SEND children, particularly those with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Knowledge of the National Curriculum and ability to support Key Stage 1 (KS1) learning. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent). Ability to build positive relationships and work as part of a team.
