As a self-delivery organisation, to support the significant growth and associated changes in the WGM business, we wish to appoint a senior leader to the role of WGM Integrated Performance & Planning Director, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a key leadership position at WGM, responsible for developing innovative working methods to enhance planning, scheduling, and productivity across all delivery activities within WGM’s three Business Streams. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all self-delivered tasks are planned to the highest standards and that resources are allocated efficiently based on industry best practices, maximising workforce productivity. Collaborate with Business Stream Leads to establish a standardised approach to work planning and resource scheduling. Assess and enhance existing planning and scheduling processes for the mobile workforce. Develop, implement, and maintain robust systems and processes including digital and AI-driven solutions, to improve transparency and efficiency. Create strategies to optimise resource allocation and job prioritisation. Work closely with operational teams to boost efficiency and minimise downtime. Enhance data driven decision making through real time analytics and reporting. Ensure adherence to contractual service levels and regulatory requirements. Lead change management initiatives to embed best practices across the organisation. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while improving customer satisfaction. Coordinate with IT, HR, and fleet management teams to align processes. Supervise and manage a team of planners and schedulers. To be eligible for this role, you must have 3-5 years of experience in a senior position within a performance and planning function, preferably in the engineering or a related sector. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of workforce scheduling software (such as ClickSoftware, SAP FSM, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and extensive leadership experience with a proven track record of driving process improvements. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders across the business.
