Package: £58,000 - £70,000 OTE Base salary plus realistic comms/bonus structure

About us:
Part of the rapidly growing Supporting Education Group, School Business Services, established in 2008, provides professional services and financial planning software to schools, academies and multi-academy trusts. Our team of education professionals support customers with financial management, MIS and ICT and our financial planning software, SBS Financial Planner is used by over 2,000 schools and 250 multi-academy trusts.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Sales Team. If you are innovative and creative in finding solutions for our growing client base, deliver increased sales and revenue across all of School Business Services’ portfolio, whilst maintaining and growing our client base nationally by building strong relationships, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets set by the company.
* Proactively build and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities across all services and software.
* Develop meaningful customer relationships and grow our revenue through proactive account management.
* Outbound prospecting (calling and emailing) to key target accounts.
* Generate new revenue within a specific territory, region or target list.
* Update and maintain the CRM (Salesforce).
* Generate pipeline and opportunities for our flagship software (SBS Financial Planner) and attend product demonstrations alongside our Product Specialist.
* Maintain and develop sector knowledge.
About you:
If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:
* Experience in a Senior Account Manager or Business Development role.
* Experience with outbound sales and pipeline management.
* Understanding of the education sector, in particular education finance and SaaS.
* Interpersonal skills, including strategic influencing/negotiation skills with the ability to relate to and communicate effectively.
* Experience in selling and presenting to C-suite and working with key stakeholders and decision makers.
* Experience developing a territory or region, growing pipeline, new business and revenue.
* Previous experience in a similar role within the education sector is desirable.

* Salary between £38,000 - £45,000
* Generous commission scheme with a realistic OTE of £20,000-£25,000
* Generous annual leave allowance of 36 days (28+8 bank holidays) +1 for every year of service (up to a maximum of 5)
