The Financial Planning & Reporting Team are looking for two Assistant Business Partners (AFBP) to join the team as soon as possible. These are hybrid roles, as there may be occasional need for travel including to their headquarters in Sandy. There is a full-time, fixed-term position for 9 months and a 0.6FTE fixed-term position also for 9 months.

Salary: £32,022.00 - £34,377.00 per annum
Hours: Full-Time role, 37.5 hours per week and a Part-Time role for 22.5 (0.6 FTE) hours per week.
Contract: 9 month Fixed-Term roles

What's the role about?
The post holders will support the Finance Business Partners and Senior Reporting Accountant with the production of weekly and monthly financial reports and general management accounts duties. The post holder will complete reconciliations and maintain records for budget monitoring and forecasting in support of the Finance Business Partners. They may also investigate variances and help maintain the finance systems.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
* The post holder must either hold an AAT level 4 qualification or be CIMA / ACCA part qualified.
* They must be numerate and proficient in using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
* They must be able to build relationships within the finance team and be comfortable resolving queries with non-finance specialists.
* They must be able to work at pace with minimal supervision and be able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
* Have proven experience of making recommendations to decision makers through analysis of financial information, modelling scenarios and paying due regard to risk and control issues.
* Have proven ability to understand business issues and identify interventions to improve business performance.
* Have proven experience of identifying key metrics that contribute to organisational performance and informing managers of such in a manner that facilitates rapid management response.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
* Previous experience as a management accountant or finance business partnering role.
* Previous exposure to commercial reporting and/or charitable income reporting.
