ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
1. Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to achieve QOF and other national/local health targets.
2. Undertake searches and reports from the database in relation to QOF and carry out any necessary actions in a timely manner, coordinating meetings with multiple agencies.
3. Scan and code all medical correspondence received into the Ageing Well Team.
4. Update patient records electronically as necessary and when updates are received.
5. Keep patients up to date with record updates.
6. Support admin staff by providing cover during staff absences.
7. Manage time and workload efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the service.
8. Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and processing medical correspondence.
9. Attend training and staff meetings as required.
10. Proficiently use SystmOne/EMIS clinical software for managing patient records, appointments, and clinical data.
11. Ensure patient information is accurately entered and maintained, adhering to data protection regulations (GDPR).
12. Provide support to clinical staff in navigating and troubleshooting SystmOne/EMIS.
13. Oversee the day-to-day running of administrative work to ensure efficient workflows and provide support as required.
14. Support the team in the use of clinical systems and provide guidance in troubleshooting when required.
15. Keep up to date with and understand NHS Targets (QOF, Enhanced Services etc.) and practice performance metrics.
16. Demonstrate excellent organisation and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
17. Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
18. Possess good IT skills, including the use of MS (Word, Excel) and Accurx.
19. Understand and implement practice protocols and procedures.
20. Facilitate effective communication between staff, the organisation, patients, and other agencies.
21. Support the Ageing Well team in the effective use of searches, audits, and recalls.
