The Successful Chef Will Be Responsible For
* Preparing food for various events on and off site to our high standards
* Delivering events at Chester Racecourse and around Cheshire
* Supporting the health and safety of all aspect of food safety adhering to guidelines in accordance with HACCP and food standards agency
* Providing a high standard of service regardless of quantity of covers
Skills And Experience Required
* Have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment or previous experience in large banqueting / catering service
* Prior experience in catering of events is preferred
* Ability to not let standards slip whilst producing large numbers of covers
* Show alertness, vigilance, attention to detail of all work
Our rates of pay (inclusive of holiday pay)
18+ £17.80 - £20.27 per hour (dependant on experience)
Shift availability
This is a casual contract, work is available on an ad-hoc basis around the event calendar. In the immediate future we have our biggest race day event the Boodles May festival, its three days of racing on the 7th / 8th & 9th of May. This is a high prestige event and the biggest on our calendar, we are looking for strong chefs with high standards to join our team for the season.
If you have previously worked as a Chef, CDP, lead chef, patisserie chef, kitchen assistant, chef-de-partie, sous chef, line chef or any other relatable role at events, in catering and hospitality please apply! Previous experience working at functions, conferences, weddings, sporting venues, festivals is all relevant.
