We are currently recruiting for a Nursing Associate (Band 4) to join our developing Lower Limb Therapy Service Team.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
The post holder will be able to demonstrate a passion for Leg Ulcer Management, assisting in-depth leg ulcer assessment, and education for patients and their carers. The post holder will have the competencies required to perform at this level and role model the Trust's core values, as well as exhibit the behaviours required as part of those values.
* The Nursing Associate will work as part of the Lower Limb Therapy team, delivering health and social care that focuses on the holistic needs of service users.
* They will carry out specific clinical tasks and responsibilities as delegated by registered practitioners.
* Assist in providing comprehensive wound assessment, prevention and treatment skills around care of leg ulcers.
* Work closely with the Nurse specialists (LLTS) and Advanced Nurse Specialist (LLTS), and other members of the Community Services Division to deliver safe, effective care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon populations.
* Support the Nurse specialists and Advance Nurse Specialist in undertaking research activities and clinical audits in Community Lower Limb Therapy and Well Leg service team.
