We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Admissions Officer (Senior Administrator) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students and their families. Key Responsibilities • Manage the Admissions Process: Oversee all aspects of the admissions process, from initial enquiries to enrolment. • Communicate with Parents and Carers: Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing clear and timely information. • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all admissions data is accurately recorded and maintained in line with GDPR regulations. • Coordinate School tours, Open Days and Events: Organise and support school open days, tours, and other events to promote Oakwood School. • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teaching and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student admissions. Essential Criteria • Experience: Previous experience in a similar administrative or admissions role, preferably within an educational setting. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively, whilst ensuring attention to detail. • IT Proficiency: Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite and experience with admissions software. • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff. Desirable Criteria • Experience in a secondary school setting • Knowledge of school admissions processes and regulations
