About the Role
Join a leading UK charity dedicated to providing specialist neurorehabilitation services for individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to become an integral part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) focused on empowering individuals to regain independence and achieve their personal goals. Key Responsibilities
: Clinical Practice:
o Deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions based on a neurobehavioral framework.
o Manage a diverse caseload, supporting individuals with complex needs under the guidance of senior therapists.
o Utilize evidence:based, person:centered approaches to help clients achieve independence in daily activities such as self:care, work, education, and leisure.
o Work closely with internal teams, families, and external professionals to ensure holistic, tailored care for each client.
: Leadership and Collaboration:
o Mentor and support rehabilitation support workers and therapy assistants, fostering their professional development.
o Effectively manage your caseload, ensuring high:quality service delivery while contributing to ongoing service improvements.
: Safety and Risk Management:
o Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide clear communication to ensure the safety and well:being of those in your care.
Candidate Requirements
: Qualifications:
o Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
: Experience:
o Experience in neurorehabilitation is preferred but not essential.
o Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions is a must.
: Skills:
o Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
