Accounts Assistant, Frimley, £26-£28k Bens / Study We are on the lookout for a proactive Accounts Assistant to join a dedicated, friendly and supportive finance team in Frimley. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Monthly Management Accounts process and oversee the Sales Ledger, ensuring all Balance Sheet Accounts are reconciled accurately. Day to Day duties: Execute monthly journal entries for Payroll, Depreciation, Prepayments, and other necessary adjustments. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and associated Schedules. Support the creation of Management Accounts for the Finance Manager’s review. Conduct thorough Balance Sheet Reconciliations each month. Aid in producing the monthly Profit and Loss Schedules. Manage the Sales Ledger, including issuing sales invoices and coordinating with stakeholders both within and outside the organisation. Support the inter-company transaction process. Contribute to the finalisation of Year End accounts. Organise P11d and PSA submissions. Step in to provide Accounts Payable support when necessary. Tackle any additional finance admin tasks as requested by the Finance Manager. Required Skills & Qualifications: Solid experience in a comparable accounts role. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong organisational and time management capabilities. Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial. This role could suit someone studying for an AAT qualification or equivalent. This is a full-time permanent role offering a competitive salary up to a max of £30k, plus pension, holidays and parking.
