About the role:
You will be working within our North East & Cumbria business, based in North Yorkshire where you will:
* Contribute to achieving the appropriate commercial result through accurate financial reporting
* Manage subcontractor accounts to secure full entitlements under the contract
* Build and maintain effective customer relationships through high service delivery
* Identify, secure, and deliver business forecasts in turnover and margin
* Monitor subcontractor performance against programme
* Assist in cost value reconciliation reports and forecast cash recovery
* Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements
* Seek opportunities to maximise value and minimise costs
* Support and coach team members on commercial and contractual awareness
* Liaise with customers on commercial issues including variations and claims
* Ensure financial closure of projects
What are we looking for:
As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will have a good understanding of construction techniques and a BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related subject, and/or RICS Membership. You should have strong knowledge of collating and producing site records necessary for interim and final account payments and cost reports.
