Learning Support Assistant – Post 16 – SEND
We have an exciting position to start ASAP for a Learning Support Assistant – Post 16 – SEND. The position is to work full time in a specialist provision supporting young people with SEND. The role is specifically to support them through work placements and give them skills to promote independence and functional skills.
The team are a dynamic supportive team with a person-centred approach to education. As a Career Support LSA, you will be supporting them in the work placement 2 days a week and also in the classroom for the other 3 days a week.

1. Supporting post 16 learners with additional needs
2. Promoting literacy, numeracy and employability
3. Supporting the pupils in work placements
4. Working as part of a dynamic friendly staffing team
5. Promoting a nurturing learning environment
6. Ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils

The ideal person for the position:
1. Will be committed to supporting learners with SEND
2. Has knowledge of Autism and other learning needs
3. Will have a degree/ TA qualification or equivalent

If you take a temporary role with Sense Education, you will be paid on a weekly basis.
