Clinical Lead
Band 7 - Full Time
Salary: £48,270 to £54,931
Location: Bracknell
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team in Bracknell where you will lead and support our community nurses.
You will have a Specialist Community Nursing Qualification and hold an Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300) or willing to undertake this within 6-12 months in post.
Your role
Provide enhanced clinical support and expertise to patients implementing evidence-based practice to ensure best patient care.
Promote a service which prevents patients from having inappropriate or unscheduled hospital admissions and helps facilitate hospital discharge.
Works alongside the Operational Team Lead to ensure staff are competent in their role and new staff and inducted and supported to reach competency required for their role.

Main duties of the job
1. Ensure care in their locality is based on sound assessment and care planning processes.
2. literate to support staff transitioning to mobile working.
3. Positively represent the service both internally and externally. Communicate highly complex information using informal and formal means to ensure people are fully informed of the service.
4. Ensure that appropriate Statutory and mandatory training has been undertaken by all team members.
5. Responsible for the retention and recruitment, induction, personal and professional development of staff.
6. Monitor clinical supervision, induction, preceptorship and development of staff.
7. Exercise leadership and judgment in the management of a Community Nursing Team to ensure good clinical practice and maintain high standards of care, and review staff practice at regular intervals.
8. To provide education opportunities and training for all staff and students including pre- and post- registration nursing students.
9. To develop district nursing practice in a defined area, developing and using relationships with other primary care team members.

28. NMC registered Nurse
29. Specialist Community Practice qualification relevant to field of practice. (DN Degree, diploma or Certificate in District Nursing) Teaching and assessing qualification
