Part-Time KS2 Teacher Needed – Special Education Needs (SEN) School based in Bovington, Wareham. We are currently seeking a Part-Time KS2 Teacher to join our dynamic team at a specialist SEN school catering for students aged 10-16. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children who require tailored support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that are adapted to the needs of students with SEMH and challenging behaviour. Creating a positive, structured learning environment that promotes emotional and academic growth. Supporting individual learning plans and working closely with the SENCO and other professionals to monitor student progress. Encouraging positive behaviour and providing effective strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging situations. Building strong, supportive relationships with students, their families, and the wider school community. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with children with SEN, particularly SEMH and challenging behaviour. A patient, empathetic approach with the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies. A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
