Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding Team
Location: Bolton
Rate: £30 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join Bolton’s Adult Safeguarding Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Social Worker in Bolton’s Adult Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for handling new and unallocated safeguarding cases. You will screen safeguarding referrals as a duty worker for approximately two days per week and conduct and manage Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act 2014. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with Bolton’s safeguarding policies and procedures while applying your knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, including conducting MCA assessments and Best Interests decisions.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. You should have post-qualified experience and be eligible to work in the UK. A full UK driving license is required. You should also have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures, the Care Act 2014, and the Mental Capacity Act.
