Job Description
As Head of Marketing for our Financial Services business, your role will be to lead, manage and optimise a multichannel marketing function to drive performance and enable FGFS to meet its strategic objectives to be the leading lender in retail. As the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for:
1. Defining, leading and delivering the FGFS marketing strategy and effectiveness.
2. Creating, leading and driving customer communications that drive the right KPIs, improve commercial performance and maximise return on investment.
3. Continually developing and improving the multi-channel marketing by leveraging relevant data and technology.
4. Leading and driving a business unit where there is a culture of high performance and the potential of people is maximised.
5. Identifying, building and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure the marketing strategic objectives are met.
Qualifications
1. Extensive knowledge of designing and delivering complex multi-channel (full-mix/traditional and digital) marketing strategies.
2. Extensive experience of digital marketing.
3. Experience of building a strong customer facing brand.
4. Knowledgeable/experienced in retail (catalogue/e-comm), gaming and/or financial services sectors.
5. Understanding/experience of print/publications (desirable).
6. Proven track record of leading transformation and delivering a growth agenda.
7. Extensive experience in managing a range of suppliers/agencies to deliver value/ROI.
8. Knowledgeable in using various social media platforms.
9. Strong data and analytical skills with experience of interpreting test results and drawing relevant conclusions.
10. Strategic thinker and problem solver.
11. Knowledgeable in market trends.
12. Commercially savvy and performance driven.
13. Excellent leadership and management skills and proven track record in developing people.
14. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
15. Proven track record in influencing at an Executive level.

FGFS operates within a regulated environment and as such, any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory background checks being completed. These include a criminal record check, a financial check, and verification of employment references.
This position is within the remit of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), as set out within the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory handbook. Individuals must obtain approval from the FCA prior to carrying out a SMF or Certified role.
