Job Description:
We are looking to appoint a Personal Assistant and HR Administrator for an outstanding primary school in central Birmingham.
The successful applicant will be:
* Organised, flexible, friendly and self-motivated
* Calm and able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
* Experienced in managing recruitment and HR procedures with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality
* Experience of working within a school environment is advantageous, though not essential
The successful applicant will have:
* CIPD qualification (desirable)
* Evidence of recent involvement in professional development
* Awareness of Safeguarding principles
* Experience in administration
* Experience in HR work
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* High degree of computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office and Google applications)
* Experience in diary/calendar management
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks
* Sympathy with the Christian ethos and activities of the school
* Professional manner and appearance
* Ability to form and maintain positive relationships
* Sensitivity to others and ability to work co-operatively
* Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
