Job Title: Health & Safety Officer
Salary Range: Up to £37,000
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and experienced Health & Safety professional who can drive the implementation and management of health and safety policies and procedures within our organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines
* Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on control measures
* Provide training and support to employees on health and safety matters
* Maintain accurate records of health and safety inspections, audits and investigations
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a culture of safety within the organisation
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science)
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
