Company Description:
* Our client is a distinguished Project and cost management consultancy focused on high end residential projects.
* They are now looking to add to their team and are searching for a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record.
Role Description:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, and budgets for luxury residential projects.
* Manage procurement processes, oversee tendering, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors.
* Administer construction contracts (JCT, NEC, bespoke contracts) to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
* Conduct value engineering and cost-saving analysis without compromising quality or design intent.
* Monitor and control project expenditure, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial forecasts.
* Lead financial reporting, including cost planning, cash flow forecasting, and progress valuations.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless cost control.
* Provide mentorship to junior quantity surveyors, fostering best practises in cost management.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Chartered status or working towards RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accreditation.
* Minimum of 7+ years experience in quantity surveying, preferably in high-end residential projects.
* Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations, contracts, and procurement methods.
* Proficiency in cost estimation tools, financial reporting, and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional quality in luxury developments.
* Must have UK project management consultancy experience.
