About the role
As the Head of Group Learning Design, you will be responsible for developing and implementing learning strategies that support the business goals. You will lead a high-performing team to design innovative, human-centred learning solutions across Essential, Shared, Technical, and Digital Skills.
You will be responsible for
* Developing and lead a Group-wide learning design strategy, ensuring learning content aligns with my clients values and business priorities.
* Acting as a subject matter expert in learning design, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
* Designing and govern content creation blueprints and principles to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
* Collaborating with senior leaders to anticipate future skills needs and develop learning initiatives that prepare colleagues for the future.
* Ensuring the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing skills stack.
* Overseeing the design and development of new learning content, ensuring it is outcome-focused and impactful.
* Prioritising business requirements, aligning resources effectively to meet organisational needs.
* Measuring and evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
* Partnering with People Practice of Expertise (POE) and People Services teams to integrate learning initiatives into broader People strategies.
* Leading transformation initiatives, ensuring learning strategies evolve in line with business change.
* Staying up to date with cutting-edge learning technologies, leveraging the latest digital tools and innovations to enhance learning experiences.
You will need
* Proven experience in learning design leadership, ideally within a complex, large-scale organisation.
* Strong expertise in content creation methodologies, digital learning, and human-centred design.
* Experience leading transformation initiatives within learning and development.
* Deep awareness of emerging learning technologies, including AI, VR, and digital learning platforms.
* Excellent ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business needs into impactful learning solutions.
* A data-driven mindset, ensuring learning effectiveness and continuous improvement.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to develop and manage a high-performing, globally distributed team.
* Strong budget management and resource planning skills.

* Annual bonus scheme of up to 45% of base salary
