Supply Chain Analyst – Manufacturing
Cannock – 3 days in office, 2 WFH
£30-34k per annum
Hours: 8.30am till 5pm – flex around start/finish times
Do you have strong analytical skills and the ability to use MS Excel? Are you experienced in planning, supply chain, and inventory management?
I’m supporting a manufacturing business based in Cannock to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst. You’d be joining an industry-leading business at a time where they’re ramping up on investment, so it’s an exciting time in the company’s history. You’ll be based out of their Cannock office – 3 days typically spent onsite, the other 2 WFH.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
* Developing and implementing S&OP strategies.
* Review and analyse sales demand to better understand opportunities and trends in the market.
* Manage availability and lead times to improve OTIF performance.
* Improving the ERP system to increase forecast accuracy.
* Create reports and make recommendations based on analysis and data extraction.
* Liaise and communicate with various departments internally, including sales and operations.
You’ll need to be/have:
* Strong analytical skills and confidence using MS Excel
* Experience in a planning/supply chain function
* Understanding of ERP systems
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* A continuous improvement mindset with a data/evidence-based approach
