Role: Senior Dev Ops Engineer
Location: Scotland offices (Remote role)
Salary: £65k - £80k

We are delighted to be partnering with a market leading, UK based, workforce provider.
The team are on the lookout for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer / System Engineer, to join a small technology department.
You will focus on optimising and automating the operations of their platforms. You'll gain experience with a sophisticated, multi-tenant system deployed across various regions and work in a containerised environment using orchestration tools.
This will be a remote role with sporadic travel to their UK offices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support business-critical applications.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation.
Ensure system visibility, guaranteeing 24/7 reliability and insights into complex applications across regions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application reliability.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Skillset
Expertise in AWS DevOps practices.
Proficiency in codifying infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
Hands-on experience with Grafana and OpenTelemetry, Traefik, Redis Cluster, and Kafka.
Strong scripting and programming skills (Shell, Python, Go).
Ability to support diverse application environments (Java, Kotlin, JavaScript).
Experience working in an agile environment, leveraging DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
Advanced knowledge of Linux.
Extensive experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS (e.g., RDS, ECS, Lambda).
