DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Employee Mobility Specialist to join our team specialising in Human Resources for our Global Mobility Department in Darlington, United Kingdom.
This position is a 16-month temporary contract to provide maternity cover.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Employee Mobility Support: Providing support for employee mobility programs will ensure smooth expatriate management, relocation, and immigration processes, enhancing employee experience.
* Coordination and Consultation: Leading the coordination of mobility program elements and consulting with various stakeholders will ensure seamless program delivery and address any issues promptly.
* Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Participating in and leading initiatives to improve mobility policies and processes will drive performance excellence and operational efficiency.
* Efficient Ticket Management: By maintaining the ‘Answer’s portal, you'll ensure timely responses and accurate re-assignments, improving overall service efficiency.
* Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements based on feedback and VOC interviews will enhance operational effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.
* Shadow Payroll Management: Leading the Shadow Payroll invoice process will ensure accurate and timely payroll operations, contributing to financial accuracy.
* Documentation and Training: Assisting in creating ‘Task Captures’ and supporting the annual review process will help maintain up-to-date documentation and facilitate effective training.
* Tax Cycle Expertise: Developing an understanding of the annual tax cycle will enable you to support compliance with P11D(b), PSA, HMRC Global Settlement, and tax filing requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Communicate Effectively: Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences.
* Administer Mobility Processes: Implement and manage operational processes for seamless talent movement, ensuring compliance with policies, taxation, immigration laws, global payroll, local legislation, and internal controls.
* Manage Payroll: Accurately translate company policies, tax, and legislative requirements into timely employee payments and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls.
* Handle HR Data: Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of people data with company policies and legislative requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
* College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
* Relevant experience in managing a Globally Mobile Population is required.
