Job Title: Quality Systems Technician
Location: UKLC Quality Team, Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Working Hours: Full:Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday:Friday, 8:00 am : 4:00 pm
Duration: 6:Month Initial Contract (with potential for extension)
* PAYE Rate: GBP17.44 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Systems Technician to join our Quality team to cover a leave of absence. This position offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining quality standards across our operations. The role requires experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and familiarity with international standards, particularly ISO 9001. This position will involve a balance of on:site and remote work, with a minimum requirement of three days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality Management System (QMS) Maintenance: Support and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with standards and enhancing operational quality.
* Internal Audits: Plan, schedule, and lead internal audits effectively and in accordance with ISO standards.
* Documentation and Policies: Draft, review, and maintain essential documentation, including work instructions, policies, and procedures.
* Reporting: Generate and manage quality reports to track issues, improvements, and corrective actions.
* Corrective Actions: Identify and raise corrective actions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive resolution and improvements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Quality Management System (QMS) Experience: Demonstrable experience with QMS management and conducting internal audits in previous roles.
* ISO Standards Knowledge:
* Essential: ISO 9001 familiarity
* Desirable: ISO familiarity as an alternative to ISO 9001
* Industry Background: Experience in operations, manufacturing, or logistics, with a preference for candidates from a manufacturing background due to the specific ISO requirements.
