Job Opportunity: Restaurant Manager
Our client near Newquay is seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at a 4-star family-friendly hotel.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead the restaurant team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service.
2. Monitor daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and health and safety compliance.
3. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop menus catering to diverse clientele, including dietary restrictions.
4. Foster a positive team environment promoting teamwork and open communication.
5. Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality supplies and manage costs.
6. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
7. Work with hotel management to develop strategies to drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
8. Stay informed about industry trends and recommend service improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar hospitality role, preferably in family-friendly or upscale settings.
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory, and cost control.
