The Role As the Office Manager, you will play an integral role in the team, taking care of not only the office, but the wider team, clients and suppliers. No two days are the same, and this would suit someone who loves a varied role. Bring your innovation and sense of humour, they like to smile and have a laugh. Core responsibilities will include: Meeting and greeting visitors, responding to phone and email enquiries. Managing office projects such as team days, company socials, office adaptations. Liaising with external suppliers and services such as the building manager, facilities providers and managing insurances. Diary management. Improving processes to make the office run more efficiently. Managing office stationery and supplies. Other duties as required. The Candidate Strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional organisation skills and ability to juggle a varied and changing workload. Calm, patient, tidy and efficient. IT competent and tech savvy. Use of MS Office (Excel, Word Power Point & Teams). Great at following and creating processes. The ability to say no. Common sense and logic. Desirable skills Knowledge of Xero Excel to a more advanced standard Understanding of finance or bookkeeping The Terms Full time based in the office in Berkhamsted. Daily working hours are 8.30-4.30 (with 30 minute lunch). After the 6 month probation period, there is some flexibility, allowing the individual to adjust the start time between 8am-9am and the end time between 4pm-5pm, taking either a 30 minute, 1 hour or 1.5 hour lunch. A salary of £30-35k depending on experience. After 2 years service, medical insurance and mobile phone provided. 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
