Fire Door Joiner - Manchester - Global Facilities Management Organisation CBW Staffing Solutions are hiring for an experienced Joiner/Carpenter to join our facilities management clients team on a permanent basis. As a Fire Door Joiner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that fire doors meet stringent safety standards and comply with regulations, carrying out the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors. This role will be working across 6 sites which span across the North West & East Midlands - this may involve overnight stays which will be fully expensedby our client. Package: Competitive salary between £37,000 - £39,000 per annum (depending on experience) Van & fuel card supplied Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Generous workplace pension scheme Training, development & progression opportunities Responsibilities: Installation of fire-rated doors and door sets to the highest standards Carrying out remedial works on existing fire doors to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations Conducting fire door surveys and inspections, identifying and addressing defects Ensuring all work is completed to meet the standards of BS 8214 and any other relevant fire safety regulations Working collaboratively with site teams, clients, and project managers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard Maintaining accurate documentation of work completed Requirements: NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent qualification (essential) FIRAS, BM Trada, or similar certification (advantageous) Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standards A full UK driving license (essential) Interested?
