Job Description:
Main Job Purpose:
• Responsible for supporting the Procurement lead in delivering the strategic programs for IT Procurement.
• Support tactical and strategic sourcing of IT goods and services for portfolio of IT Application, Software, User, and Infrastructure services & Telecoms supporting the Global IT Procurement Team.
• Work closely with IT sub-portfolio teams in developing and implementing sourcing strategies, early involvement with stakeholders on projects, and support the roll-out and compliance to global strategies and contracts within the cluster.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Support delivering the strategic programs for IT Procurement.
2. Support sourcing of projects in line with the IT strategy and wider MBS organisation goals.
3. Collaboratively work with IT Stakeholders and lead Sourcing activities for the projects.
4. Partner and manage the Suppliers.
5. Work within defined Procurement procedures and always adhere to the Code of Business concepts.
6. Possess a high level of business and IT acumen.
7. Have significant experience in supply management to strategize, influence and execute suppliers in the best interest of Unilever.
8. Work in an effective, cohesive team environment.
9. Support implementation of Global projects in the clusters.
10. Ensure projects are in line with the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan and Responsible sourcing.
11. Understand local laws and legislation to mitigate risk to Unilever.
12. Flexibility to travel as required.
13. Identify, facilitate, and deliver benefits through strategic sourcing and vendor relationship management.
14. Negotiate value-driven agreements in line with defined commercial and legal requirements.
15. Achieve savings/cash targets and report on these financial targets.
16. Support managing outsourcing relationships in MBS.
17. Implement and manage sourcing best practices.
Supplier Relationship Management:
1. Identify and assess suppliers for assigned portfolio and site clusters.
2. Prepare and manage supplier selection process.
3. Work with Legal Counsel to finalize commercial agreements.
4. Maintain frequent contact with suppliers to develop insights into their business conditions.
5. Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.
6. Track and analyze supplier performance data.
7. Address supplier non-performance as appropriate.
General:
1. Engage key stakeholders proactively.
2. Drive best in class business processes.
3. Ensure that supply agreements and pricing information is communicated accurately.
4. Source and negotiate for assigned spend and site clusters.
5. Contribute to automation of Purchase Orders.
6. Develop and align own work plan within the context of the overall IT Team priorities.

Professional Skills:
Essential:
1. Strong commercial negotiation and contracting skills.
2. Knowledge about IT markets.
3. Excellent working knowledge of professional Sourcing Methodologies.

6. Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
8. Strong / fluent English speaker.
Preferred:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
2. Studying towards or achieved a recognised Procurement certification.
Experience Required:
Essential:
1. 5+ years in IT Procurement.
2. Experience in managing supplier contracts.
3. Skilled in delivering savings targets.
4. Ability to understand multiple areas within Procurement.
5. A skilled negotiator.
6. Experienced in stakeholder and supplier management.
Preferred:
1. Exposure to sourcing tools like Coupa, Ariba eAuctions.
Travel:
As per job/site requirements – average travel anticipated 3 – 5 days per year (domestic/international).
