We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level professional ready to take on more responsibility in a supervisory role. Role Overview: As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will handle complex and larger-scale jobs, assist with training and mentoring junior engineers, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards. This hands-on role includes a variety of tasks such as plumbing, drain laying, CCTV surveys, and high-pressure jetting, with a strong focus on leadership and health & safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Carry out plumbing works, including excavations, drain laying, and lining/patch repairs Conduct CCTV drain surveys and high-pressure water jetting Lead and manage complex or large-scale drainage jobs Provide on-site training and support to engineers Carry out site audits and job quality checks Assist with challenging or problematic jobs Meet with clients to assess issues and offer technical solutions Prepare and submit accurate job quotations Ensure all works meet health and safety regulations Essential Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in the drainage industry Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive, can-do attitude with a high attention to detail Flexible with working hours and on-call availability Full UK driving licence Clean DBS check (will be processed) What We Offer: Competitive salary: £39,000 £52,000 depending on skillset Bonus scheme and overtime opportunities 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Fully equipped company vehicle Company-provided uniform Ongoing training and professional development Clear pathway to further progression within the business If you are a highly skilled plumbing and drainage professional with a passion for leading and mentoring others, wed love to hear from you.
