The mission of the Bletchley Park Trust is to attract, engage, and educate people from all over the world in order to inspire them with Bletchley Park’s crucial role in World War Two. An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Venue and Events Officers to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Venue and Events Manager, you will support the museum’s private and corporate events offer. This includes helping with the successful delivery of events for corporate partners, sponsors, and supporters and private events, promoting Bletchley Park as a unique and exciting venue and building upon the reputation of the Trust as a venue of choice. You will accurately maintain event plans, produce risk assessments, and collaborate effectively across the various departments to support the smooth delivery of each corporate and private event, to a high standard and within budget. To be successful you will have excellent administration and organisational skills and be confident communicating at all levels. You will be a team player, able to demonstrate your ability to work to deadlines and effectively coordinate and motivate others, whilst maintaining high standards and a calm professional approach. You will have good numeracy skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. Previous experience in planning and coordinating event delivery would be an advantage. This is a hands-on role, which will include some heavy lifting to facilitate the set-up and effective turnaround of event spaces. Employment Details This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, usual hours of work are Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 17.00, you will also be required to work early evening/weekends to support with planned events as needed. In return, you will receive a salary of £26,500 per annum along with access to a company pension scheme, BUPA wellbeing cash plan, and 33 days holiday per annum, inclusive of statutory holidays. This is a site-based role, located in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
