Who we are
We exist because we saw a gap in the market. A gap between ideas and measurement. Anyone can have a good idea, but they don’t necessarily know how to measure it. Conversely, just because you can measure things, it’s no guarantee you can have good ideas. Well, we do both.
We’re the free-thinking media agency for brands with big plans. We enhance reach, reputation, and revenue by giving every client the best in Heart, Art and Science, which means going the extra mile to understand their world and collaborating to create market-leading strategies, anchored in intelligent data. And because we’re independent, we enjoy the freedom to work with clients we love, in ways that work best for both of us. Because great relationships drive better results.
We’re a team of creative thinkers, professional doers and clever data people, all obsessed with delivering measurable outcomes. With a team of over 90 media specialists and growing, The Kite Factory has seen exponential growth, celebrated award-winning work, and welcomed multiple new clients in recent years, including WhiteClaw, NatWest Cushon, Skin+Me, Anthony Nolan and Breast Cancer Now. We are also proud to be ranked as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work and their Independent Media Agency of the Year 2023, as well as holding IPA Platinum status for our dedication to learning and development.
What we are looking for
We're looking for candidates that want to push the boundaries with clients, whilst still being able to deliver excellent results. You should also be able to strike the balance between analytical thinking and creative thinking. Collaboration between teams and with clients is also key to success here.
Your role
You will report into John Downs (Programmatic Account Director) and Jack Shearman (Senior Programmatic Account Manager) within the programmatic team, working across all of our self-serve DSPs including DV360, StackAdapt, Quantcast and Amazon AAP. We also access specialist inventory and data integrations via these DSPs.
You will work very closely with the digital team who undertake wider media planning to make recommendations for potential tech partners, targeting, buying strategies, data partners and creative requirements. Once the plan is signed off by the client you will build the campaigns in the DSPs including the creation and implementation of tags, trafficking of creative and budget allocation by tactic. After going live your role will be to carry out regular ‘flight’ checks and optimise the campaigns to the brief KPIs, constantly testing new tactics and redistributing budget to maximise performance. You will also provide regular reports (utilising our internal dashboarding system, FlightDeck) and content for client presentations on campaign performance, key learnings, potential next steps and innovation.
As a channel specialist after your training and onboarding you will have exposure to clients via email, conference calls and meetings. There is also a department remit around spend tracking, keeping the wider team informed of new opportunities and building rapport with our key technology partners.
You will use insight tools for audience and market research and liaise with various partners on planning and developing tactics. Alongside the Senior Programmatic Exec, you will be responsible for delivering the campaign targets and growth whilst ensuring quality control at all times.
There will be the opportunity to sell additional services to existing clients and get involved in new business RFPs and pitches. You will work closely with client teams to identify opportunities and tailor proposals for clients, essentially you will be a team player and contribute to the wider agency’s development. We require someone who has the passion, drive and tenacity to make a difference.
