Network Synchronization Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Synchronization Engineer to join our dynamic team at WB Power Services. The successful Synchronization Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient synchronization and operation of power generation networks, contributing to the reliability and stability of our clients' power systems.

The Role
Develop and implement synchronization plans for power generation networks.
Ensure seamless integration of generators into existing power systems.
Execute synchronization procedures, including testing of synchronization equipment.
Conduct diagnostic assessments of synchronization issues and implement timely resolutions.
Using a works van to travel to sites in your territory.
Maintain accurate records of synchronization activities, results, and maintenance activities.
Conducting fault diagnosis and carrying out breakdown repairs.
Collaborating with Coordinators for efficient planning.
Participating in the regional on-call rotation (approximately 1 in 6 on average – Standby Fee)
Adhering to the company's H&S, environmental, and quality management systems.
Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.The Person
Time served as Mechanical/Electrical engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3 or above.
Experience in generators is highly advantageous but not essential.
Familiar with electronics & and mechanical components (including engines and Alternators).
Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
Any experience in a mobile engineering position is attractive.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.What we can offer you
£18.40+ per hour
Door-to-door pay
Overtime after 40 hours, with an accurate OTE of £55k to £65k
On-call duties approximately 1 in 6 with standby pay
